1st Gen Toyota Tundra Mpg
Hello Fellow 1st gen owners.
1st gen toyota tundra mpg. I would say a 33 to be safe. Does anyone have knowledge or opinions of which is a better transmission. As for fuel economy the i-Force delivers 18 mpg city 23 highway and 20 combined with rear-wheel drive.
Lets do a thing. Im struggling between the 4speed and 5 speed tranny in the later models. I recently reviewed my 2000 Tundra 47 SR5 gas mileage 17 mpg on average.
Better in every way. I can get 21 mpg on the highway I did it for years just set the cruise control to 65 and go. Now I get about 19 because I run 1030 oil now I have.
It may not be the best at any 1 category but it does everything well. This generation Tundra is basically full size pickup truck that will suffice for the majority of truck owners. Thanks for the advice.

My dad had an 01 V8 Tundra Access truck I miss that trucksosad. The gas mileage between the 57 and 47 is honestly pretty much the same - I dont have a Gen 2 Tundra but I have 2 friends that do and the difference between the 4unnerGxTundra seems to be negligible. Model Years 2006 2005 2004 2003 2002 2001 2000.
