2001 Toyota Tundra Trailer Lights Not Working
The back left tail light is not working.
2001 toyota tundra trailer lights not working. The tail light and brake light same bulb are an LED bulb but that shouldnt make a difference seeing how as they have worked just fine previous to a few days ago. It is not the trailer as verified it worked with another toyota. If they dont work then as Toxarch says your trailer has a bad ground.
Use a circuit tester like 40376 if needed to test the wires going into the converter box from the truck. A simple check with a 12 volt test lamp to the center pin orange wire or the 4 terminal black wire should tell you if the truck is OK. Interestingly I bought a lcd tester that you plug into the 4 pin connection it worked.
