We followed up with Doug after 15000 miles on his 2000 Toyota Tundra 47 liter V8 Motor Oil Change. Remove the refill plug and leave the overflow plug out also. When fluid stops dripping out of the overflow hole replace both the refill and the overflow plugs.

If they have a code for the Tundra Tranny you can get a Scan Gauge which will show the actual tranny temp so you know when to pull the plug to check it.
