2002 Toyota Tundra Trailer Lights Not Working

On the Tundra the white wire is the ground on both connectors find the corresponding wire on the trailer connector and ensure it is connected to the trailer.

Asked by JamesDean in Poway CA on July 03 2010. Check the turn signal converter. You have to use a socket wrench to loosen both bolts that hold fuse in place by clamping down on both sides of fuse legs.

The brake lights work reverse and signal work just fine just not the tail lights when I turn the headlight switch on. You cant post conmments that contain an email address. Interestingly I bought a lcd tester that you plug into the 4 pin connection it worked.

I have a 2002 Tundra with a factory installed hitch. It separates the trucks turn signals from the brake lights and combines them on the trailers harness. So the hazards work fine but the turn signals dont work at all.
