Toyota tundra bilstein 5100 install. Multiple snap-ring grooves allows different spring seat positions allowing 0 stock height to 25 of front end lift. When I went to pick it up he said that he set the height on the middle setting. I worked 4 hours on the first front corner and couldnt get them in. I have been reading all the threads I can find on the DIY installwish me luck.

I requested the shocks be set on the highest setting. Well I bought all 4 bilstein 5100 shocks and tried to install the fronts over the weekend. I figured I would post this up for other noobs like myself.

I used original bottom bolt and nut and all top bushingsplates but used supplied nut from 5100 kit for the top mount. Unless your bushings are completely worn they are suppose to reused for the new 5100 install. The part number is 24-188265 for the tundra bilstein.
